What information does Yoga Sangeeta collect?
Yoga Sangeeta collects the Personal information only from persons who contact us and voluntarily provide the information to us or that is given to us by various affiliated Yoga Sangeeta organizations (satsangs and centers) that have your permission to share your Personal information. *Personal information* means your name, shipping/mailing address, telephone number, fax number, and email address and may include your program registration and donation preferences. We do not collect and store credit or debit card account numbers through our website. Financial transactions such as payment for our programs and donations done through our website are processed by First Data and Paypal, Stripe Payment gateways.
How information is processed by Yoga Sangeeta?
1. We use your personal information to respond to and fulfill requests for products and services including: Sending information about the activities of Yoga Sangeeta.
2. Sending you our e-newsletters and promotional offers about our products.
3. Contacting you about the status of your orders, donations and program registrations
4. Completing your purchases and program registrations

When we disclose personal information to others
1. Yoga Sangeeta does exchange Personal information with various affiliated organizations (satsangs and centers) in the U.S. and abroad so that they can contact people on the mailing list about Yoga Sangeeta's programs and events.
2. We use personal information to send promotional offers about our products.
3. Yoga Sangeeta's mailing list, including the Personal information we receive through the internet, is never shared with any commercial organizations and is never sold, rented or given to unrelated third parties.
4. Yoga Sangeeta will disclose Personal information to third parties if we believe in good faith that the law requires us to do so.
Right to control and procedures to protect personal information
1. Individuals who wish to register online for our programs and events are allowed to register online using the Register button on our website by providing their name, address, email id, and telephone number, and related information.
2. Individuals who purchase goods or services from online store or who give donations through our Yoga Sangeeta website or who register and pay online for our programs, are redirected to First Data's secure payment gateway to complete the payment transaction. All financial information entered online is collected and processed by First Data and Yoga Sangeeta does not collect, process, or retain any of the credit card information in our files. Please review the terms of use and privacy policy on First Data website. Yoga Sangeeta limits access to your Personal information to those persons that are required to fulfill the requests for information, services or products. Your Personal information is protected with access only to those selected and authorized persons.
How we use Cookies
Yoga Sangeeta uses cookies to store information. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored in your computer's hard drive.
Amendment of Policy
Yoga Sangeeta reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy any time. No individual notice of such changes will be provided but they will appear on the website in the form of a revised and newly dated Privacy Policy. Our current policy was amended in March 2009.
User Profile Data Deletion Request
User data collected as part of account creation through third party authentication services such as Facebook, Google and Microsoft can be deleted upon request. Users may open a Technical Support request mentioning reason to delete their profile and request would be honoured in the order it was received.
